Transjakarta Reactivates Two Flat Routes

City-owned bus operator Transjakarta has reactivated two flat routes, namely Flamboyan Flat - Kalideres (3B) and Kapuk Muara Flat - Penjaringan (3C). Both routes are effective in serving the community starting Wednesday (7/27).

This is to follow up on the Governor's mandate to provide affordable transportation access within 500 meters

According to Anang Rizkani Noor, Division Head of Transjakarta Secretary, besides improving the service, it also targets the expansion of Transjakarta's service coverage to 95 percent this year.

"This is to follow up on the Governor's mandate to provide affordable transportation access within 500 meters from both the first and last miles of the community," he stated.

He added the two routes operate every Monday - Sunday, starting from 5 AM to 10 PM.

The re-operation of the two routes was carried out simultaneously with the closure of two other routes, namely Taman Kota Intan - Museum Bahari (GR4) and Kota Tua Explorer (GR5). Both routes are free shuttle bus services for the public to and from the museum in the Kota Tua area, West Jakarta

“This is done as efficiency. The two GR routes have been facilitated by the two flat routes that we have reactivated," he stated.
